It is without reservation that we recommend Glory to God Family Daycare Inc. Our daughter was a student at the daycare center from the time she was two years old until she started kindergarten. Her development under Pamela Young-Grigsby is beyond what we could have expected from any other daycare provider. "Ms. Pam" is without question, gifted by God to care for children. Her talents, patience, compassion, and heart for children is every parent's dream.
Ms. Pam starts every morning with the children in prayer. As Christians it is of paramount importance that our child learn Christian values early in her life. Ms. Pam has been instrumental in helping us instill these values.
The children who attend Glory to God are well cared for and exposed to age appropriate curriculum in math, science, and language arts in the morning. In the afternoon, Ms. Pam lets the children be children and take full advantage of their boundless energy and curiosity with outdoor and indoor play.
The children who attend Glory to God are often referred by other parents. This is important because we believe that Ms. Pam is deliberate about the students she brings into the daycare and she is careful to work with families of similar beliefs and child-rearing philosophies.
To describe Ms. Pam as dependable is an understatement. She never closes at the last minute and she is open on weekends and holidays and even during snow storms.
Our child is the most precious gift in our lives. It is no small thing to entrust her care to another. Since the first day we met Ms. Pam we have complete and total confidence in her ability to educate our child.
We have enrolled our son in the program now with the same expectations.
Our prayer is that God continues to bless Glory to God Family Daycare and that more children are able to experience this awesome daycare.

As Zachary prepares to enter kindergarten this fall, he'll take the wealth of knowledge you taught him. You have certainly made an indelible impression upon Zachary's formative years.
Not only have you been a stellar educator, you've been Zachary's second mom-- and a trusted Godly mom, I might add! You began to care for Zachary when he was a toddler. And under your tutelage he learned to read. That's a three-year transition I have enjoyed watching unfold.
From the beginning, you cinched my trust. Over the past three years, the educational and Godly seeds you have infused in Zachary have become deeply rooted. The confluence of Jesus and education are vital to training up a child. And you have done a wonderful job combining the two.
Your hard work and dedication has more than equipped Zachary for the next phase in his educational journey.
The sight-words you taught Zachary made him say, "Mommy, I can read!"
Zachary read by memory in the beginning, that's where it all started. But now he recognizes kindergarten phonetic patterns. I must admit, I didn't know that four-year-olds could become fluent readers. Now I am proud to say that Zachary has become a voracious, confident reader at age four and a half years old-- thanks!
Additionally, the daily kindergarten worksheets you provided Zachary showed what he learned each day, This negated the need to ask, "What did Zachary do today?" Plus the worksheets enabled me to reinforce what you taught each day.
And what's more, you imbued Zachary with Jesus. You constantly showed the kids that Jesus is their compass. From daily morning prayers to playing biblical children's music, you constantly kept Jesus at the forefront of each day. In one year, you have exposed Zachary to over 1,900 hours of kindergarten preparation and Godly instruction.
For that, I immensely thank you. You are a steadfast, professions, trustworthy, and Godly educator that will nurture and develop every child you instruct.

As a first-time mother, you can imagine the concerns I had about finding childcare for my son, Connor. However, from the very first meeting with Ms. Pam, I felt a connection and a reassurance that my son would be safe and in good hands. I had a peace knowing that my son would be loved, nurtured and in a safe place while I was at work.
I enrolled Connor at Glory to God Family Daycare at three months old and now Connor is five years old. He is presently in the Before and After School Program at Glory to God Childcare.
When my son started kindergarten, I felt confident that Ms. Pam had well-prepared him, a ministry of academic excellence to excel and be confident. Ms. Pam, beyond preschool preparation, emphasized sight words in her curriculum, therefore, it took Connor no time to start reading. My son is at level four in kindergarten, which is the top, extraordinary reading level in the kindergarten curriculum. At Glory to God, everyday, through repetition, which is key to learning, was taught phonics, preschool prep subjects, reading, writing, and language arts.
What I admired the most is how Ms. Pam not only emphasizes the importance of education, but she also develops a child's spiritual and social skills, manners, respect, and leadership. She takes pride in her work because she is an educator and every child that is enrolled in her program develops leaps and bounds. One attribute is that you will notice the love and respect that both the children and the parents have for Ms. Pam.
Without reservation, I recommend Glory to God Family Daycare, Inc. in Bowie, Maryland because Ms. Pam unequivocally made a positive influence on Connor's life and we love her.
